Ultimate Leadership Martial Arts has a program designed to be a level above the regular instructor program.  It is called the ULMA Internship Program.  This program has been designed to offer an opportunity for select students to have a path to being on staff at ULMAhq. Selected intern students are given more leadership opportunities that will look great for college applications and resumes in the future. Congratulations!  You are among a small group who have been selected to be on this team.  

Here are the details:

• Interns will have 1-2 days of classes per week that they will assist with and learn to lead.
• Internship will last for up to one year
• Leadership training and public speaking development is guaranteed
• The intern program is a non-paid position
• Interns will have to maintain all of the requirements of the instructor program
• Interns will need to read the ULMAhq Staff reading list within the 1st 6 months of internship
• Being hired is not guaranteed and will be based on the effectiveness of the intern as well as class sizes and current staff atmosphere

Conditions/Expectations:

In addition to the items above, here is a list of things that will be expected from interns for those who choose to apply.

• You will be expected to work to grow as a leader, a communicator as well as a martial artist. 
• You will be expected to have a positive attitude
• You are expected to participate in and tournaments (when possible). The reason for this is doing what we ask students to do. By competing and assisting, we are leading by example.
• You will be expected to assist in Award Ceremonies as well when possible. This will let you see the fruits of your labor by seeing students that you coach go to the next level!
• You will be expected not to gossip or talk negatively about students, instructors, staff, etc. (Of course if you have an issue with someone and need to talk, feel free to come to Mr. Thompson or Mrs. Maddie Rohe)
• While we do not force anyone to participate in prayer, we do expect those who choose not to participate to do so in a respectful way as ULMA is a Christian owned company. 

As an Intern you will receive some incentives for you hard work!
